The Rapidgrid Gower Peninsula Triathlon Swim Information

The swim will comprise of a triangular sea swim in the relatively safe water of Port
Eynon Bay which has blue flag status.

• Wetsuits are mandatory
• Swim caps are mandatory - Only the issued swim caps are permitted.

The athletes will be required to start from deep water. Athletes are advised to take care
when entering and exiting the water due to stony conditions underfoot.
The buoy will be on the right hand side of the athletes at all times.
There will be trained water safety crews in the water 15 minuets prior to the swim start.
