Ever wanted to test yourself against some of the best in the business? Or would you like to ask a Pro what life as an athlete is like?

Well now you got the chance, as we have received conformation that GBR Elite athlete Tom Room has confirmed he will be attending this year’s race, and will be around over the weekend to answer all your questions.

Tom Room is currently travelling the world competing in Half Ironman distance races, but through a chance encounter with the race organisers, has decided to give the tough Gower course a try to sharpen up.

We have currently sold out all the available places for this years race. We would like to thank everyone who has entered, as this really takes the pressure off us, and allows us the luxury of finding ways to make this years event the biggest and best yet.

We are currently in talks with Swansea council about the possibility using a different transition design, hence allowing us to take more entries, possibly up to 400. Our commitment to anyone who has joined our waiting list takes priority, but after that we will be sure to post a message on this website and email our confirmed athletes to spread the word. So to avoid disappointment and guarantee a place if we can increase the field, register your details on our waiting list.

Just a quick message to say thank you to all of the athletes that have already signed up to this years race and also to say that we have the last few slots available.

Also for those of you who are interested in the training camp we will be issuing the slots on a first come first served basis and we will close entries on the 9th May.

We are pleased to announce that the 2010 Activity Wales Gower triathlon is now open for entries. Please remember to enter early to secure your race slot to avoid disappointment. We look forward to seeing you at this years event.

Just to let you know that we are just finalising the last few details prior to launching our online entry system. I would anticipate the entries to be open no later than the 8th February so keep an eye on the site.
